Hi, my name is Glenn Bitossi. Yes, many things change with age but age also brings broad experience, continuing education, greater communication skills and knowledge both general and technical.
After 28 years with Westpac, I upgraded my qualifications and then spent 16 years as a self-employed licenced financial planner and mortgage broker. It was always very satisfying to help clients protect and grow their financial security. I have worked with people in various walks of life and differing needs, some just starting out and all the way through to retirement, and all levels of wealth.
I sold my business and retired a few years ago. I no longer provide financial advice. I am not licenced to do so anymore but have maintained a strong personal interest, kept my knowledge up to date and continue to be committed to assisting individuals and families navigate the complex and at times confusing financial world we all operate in. I would welcome the opportunity to share that experience and to consult with you.
Clients are continuing to pay for advice and active management they may no longer receive or need – because they have every year!
With the extent of poor advice that became apparent after the Royal Commission, I can understand why people became disillusioned with the financial industry. Let me assure you though, there are still honest and caring professionals that remain.
However, it has become obvious from the number of people who have contacted me since then, for information and assistance, that there is often a need for guidance, a second opinion and help. Whether it be about investing, personal insurance, loans, government benefits, or super.
It is all about what is in the client’s best interests. I would welcome the opportunity to share that experience, passion and to consult with you.
